This is what we're doing

So we live in a bungalow with a finished attic. This is fine, but the upper floor space isn't terribly usable -- the head room's not sufficient even for me, unless I'm walking right down the middle of the space.

So rather than just the low-headroom-attic, we're shooting for an actual, true second story. Check out the artist's rendition! Pretty cool, eh?

I promise to eventually scan in the floor plans...
